New year, three new harvests, and a new blend. We welcome 2023 with some freshly harvested coffee from finca La Riviera and a slightly different approach to this month’s edition.
For this month we blended three distinct coffees. Each of the triad’s varieties make outstanding coffees by themselves. Blend them together in a thoughtful, well prepared manner and the three coffee’s virtues sing in harmonious choir. We took the Gesha’s variety to help with vanilla sweetness, then added some Bourbon variety to contribute bright acidity, and completed the blend by throwing in the Tekisic variety to help with its known body and aftertaste.
The result is a blend with markers that have made Quintal Subscription a favorite amongst customers and critics alike. Harvested just two month’s ago and roasted at Origin, we sincerely hope you enjoy Quintal No. 20–our first coffee of the year and our first blend.
