Notes from Guatemala
Each month, we meticulously search for unique and rare flavors to bring you the most exquisite coffee experiences.
To accomplish this, we sample a variety of options derived from the latest harvests around Latin America.
For this month, we are thrilled to present a coffee from the New Oriente region in Guatemala. This region is somewhat drier than other parts of the country, resulting in coffees with more pronounced flavors and a heavier mouthfeel. Expect bold notes and an overpowering presence in your palate.
The coffee we've chosen was harvested in May by Marvin Carias, our friend and the proud owner of "Las Brisas" Farm. Ever since 1990, Marvin has been relentlessly expanding and refining his coffee production techniques.
From humble beginnings with just one parcel of land, he now owns several plots and even a wet mill where he processes his coffee to perfection. Enjoy unique notes of strawberry, panela, and chocolate, coupled with a robust and enduring mouthfeel that will leave you yearning for more after every sip.
